    En mis obras utilizo biomateriales como troncos, raíces, fibras botánicas, ramas, piedras, cáscaras, maderas. La elección de la madera como material estructural responde a ciertas propiedades: se encuentra y se puede utilizar en diversas formas y formatos y presenta distintos niveles de elasticidad, flexibilidad y resistencia. Me gusta experimentar en los materiales distintos procesos y metodologías, en relación a cómo accionan y reaccionan a la resistencia a los cambios, a la respuesta a los diferentes estímulos, o a la interacción de sus propiedades, siendo estos resultados los que definen la elección de cada material que utilizo.

    Investigando las fronteras entre el individuo y el entorno, la naturaleza y la cultura y lo natural y lo artificial, me interesa insertarme en estas relaciones, para extraer formas que funcionan como dispositivos relacionales. Un concepto clave en mi obra, es el de la otredad, tanto humana como no humana, y sus entrecruzamientos.

     In my works I use biomaterials such as trunks,  roots, botanical fibers, branches of trees, stones,  shells and wood. The choice of wood as a structural material responds to certain special properties wood has itself. It may be found as well as used in different shapes and formats. Besides wood also presents different levels of elasticity, flexibility and resistance. I like to experiment with rough materials, I apply different process and methods on them  to prove how they act and react in relation to their resistance to changes, to test their answers to different stimulus or how they interact according to their own properties. These results define the choice of each material to be used in my works.

    Investigating on the bounderies between man and his environment, nature and culture and what is natural or what is artificial,  I am interested in  inserting myself into these kind of relantionships to get shapes/forms  that function as “relational devices”. A key concept in my work is that of “otherness”, may be  human or not human  and its interaction.
